After many years of use and still look and function like new. | 5/14/2021
I bought the Trainer, #1 and #2 back in 2008 when I was into martial arts. I worked my way up to closing the #2. I just recently got back into strength training and could still close the #1 but not the #2. Bought the #1.5 about a week ago and today was able to close it. Its a great way to ease back into the #2. The quality of these grippers is exceptional. The #1 and #2 still function the same as the day I bought them. I scrub them occasionally with a bristle brush and theyre like new again.

Great gripper for a guy with above average grip strength. | 12/15/2015
This is a great way of doing negatives when CoC #1 is a little too easy and CoC #2 seems impossible to close. I can just barely close it fully with my right hand and I am less than a centimeter away of closing it with my left. Like the CoC #2 Gripper I got when I was 18 years old, CoC #1.5 is simple, sturdy and reliable of high quality that other grippers can only dream of matching. Ive been using grippers for about six years now, but it is until recently I got serious about it. Great for for doing negatives for guys with above average hand strength.
